1. Introduce of product

HJST-98 fire-resistant tape is made of high-performance ceramic silicon rubber, which can be fired into an inorganic ceramic-like hard fire-resistant and fire-resistant armor insulating protective layer at 350-3000 ºC with flames and no flames. In case of fire, Protect the circuit from short circuit and uninterrupted circuit to ensure the smooth operation of the circuit. This product can also provide effective fire protection for all nearby cables and accessories wrapped with this fireproof tape before the protective device cuts off the fault line when the cable is affected by a fault arc.
HJST-98 fireproof tape is halogen-free, non-toxic, resistant to high and low temperature, aging resistance, and has excellent electrical insulation properties. Prevent the flame from being burned at the fire site and will not release toxic gases, so as to protect the health of the personnel at the fire site. The HJST-98 fireproof tape has a soft material and good shape. The construction staff can easily and quickly realize the wrapping and covering of cables and irregular-shaped cable accessories, and the wrapping is safe and wrinkle-free.

5. Calculating formula for the amount of tape
§ The number of HJST-98 ceramicized silicone fire-resistant tapes required to wrap the cable half-overlap can be calculated by the following formula:
D = cable outer diameter (unit: mm); LC = cable length (unit: m)
C = the perimeter of the cable section (C=πD, π=3.14, unit: mm)
W = the width of the tape (unit: mm); LT = the length of the tape (unit: m)
Number of tape rolls required = 2×(C×LC)÷(W×LT)

6. How to use
Semi-overlapping wrapping makes the fireproof tape adhere to the wrapped cable tightly and without wrinkles; when a new roll of fireproof tape is opened, it is generally required to wrap around 100~150mm from the previous roll. HJST-98 fire-resistant tape has no adhesive, and it is generally completed after being fixed with the fire-resistant glass fiber tape in the box.


7. Product storage period
Stored in an environment with room temperature and relative humidity <75%, HJST-98 fireproof tape has a shelf life of 5 years from the date of production.
